The ever popular One K Defender now comes with MIPS technology. Founded in 1996 by a neurosurgeon and a researcher from the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden, MIPS stands for Multi-directional Impact Protection System and is designed to add protection against rotational motion transmitted to the brain from angled impacts to the head. MIPS-added protection has been independently proven to reduce rotational motion by redirecting forces that would otherwise be transmitted to the brain. The One K MIPS helmet features:
