The Black Oak line is the way to go for those looking for more of an economy bridle without sacrificing quality and durability. These bridles are made of drum-dyed Indian leather instead of Sedgwick's UK or Italian leather. This makes the leather a bit stiffer, but it is still plenty supple and easy to work with, especially after a few oils. Despite the significantly lower price, KL Select did not cut any corners regarding craftsmanship.
